How to read this diagram
Internet users are individuals who have used the Internet (from any location) in the last 3 months. The Internet can be used via a computer, mobile phone, personal digital assistant, games machine, digital TV etc. Compare two common reporting years exactly ten years apart. Select eight economies with the largest absolute endpoint changes; ties sort by reporting code. Both endpoints use the same 0–100% vertical scale. Labels are spaced for readability and connected to the true value positions. Changes are percentage points, not percentage growth. Connecting lines summarize endpoints, not the intervening path.
182 of 210 retained reporting economies have values in 2024; coverage is not a complete world ranking. Highest does not imply best.
Internet use in the previous three months differs from subscriptions, broadband availability and household access. National surveys and reporting periods vary.
