Timor-Leste2025

GDP per capita in Timor-Leste

$1,214

constant 2015 US$ per person

Annual economic output divided by population, expressed in US dollars at constant 2015 prices.

Source, freshness & caveats

The publisher collection was updated on 2026-07-13; the original release date for this series is not supplied. The snapshot was accessed on 2026-10-03.

GDP per capita measures average economic output, not wages, disposable income, or household wealth.

Constant 2015 US dollars are not purchasing-power-parity dollars. Cross-country levels do not measure the cost of living or what residents can buy.

National accounts methods and revisions may differ across countries.

Source, freshness & caveats

The publisher collection was updated on 2026-07-13; the original release date for this series is not supplied. The snapshot was accessed on 2026-10-03.

This is a midyear estimate rather than a census-day count.

Population estimates can be revised when censuses or migration estimates change.

Country-level figures do not describe local population growth. Preserve source footnotes, including preliminary estimates.

Spain2025

Inflation in Spain

2.70%

annual change in consumer prices (%)

Annual percentage change in the consumer price index, summarizing the change in prices for a representative basket of goods and services.

Source, freshness & caveats

The publisher collection was updated on 2026-07-13; the original release date for this series is not supplied. The snapshot was accessed on 2026-10-03.

A lower inflation rate means prices are rising more slowly; it does not mean prices have fallen.

Annual inflation differs from a single month’s year-over-year inflation rate.

Country baskets and expenditure weights differ. Compare price-change rates rather than price levels.

Differences between rates are measured in percentage points.

Papua New Guinea2025

Employment ratio in Papua New Guinea

50.73%

% of population aged 15+ (modeled ILO estimate)

Share of people aged 15 and older who are employed, from the ILO modeled estimates series.

Source, freshness & caveats

The publisher collection was updated on 2026-07-13; the original release date for this series is not supplied. The snapshot was accessed on 2026-10-03.

The denominator is population aged 15+, not the labor force. This is not one minus the unemployment rate.

This modeled ILO series can differ from national survey releases.

WDI does not identify every imputed observation in this response. Cross-country ranking and comparison are disabled because ILO warns against comparing imputed observations.

A higher ratio does not by itself establish better jobs or working conditions.

Namibia2023

Electricity consumption in Namibia

1,232

kilowatt-hours per person

Annual net electric power consumption across an economy, divided by its midyear population, in kilowatt-hours per person.

Source, freshness & caveats

The publisher collection was updated on 2026-07-13; the original release date for this series is not supplied. The snapshot was accessed on 2026-10-03.

This includes electricity across economic sectors; it is not household electricity consumption or an electricity bill.

IEA source coverage and methods can change, producing breaks in time series. The source describes a different calculation convention for the United States.

Consumption does not measure supply reliability, outages or electricity access.

Missing years remain missing. An association with economic output does not establish causation.

Suriname2024

Life expectancy in Suriname

73.76

years at birth

Years a newborn would be expected to live if the age-specific mortality rates in the observation year continued throughout life.

Source, freshness & caveats

The publisher collection was updated on 2026-07-13; the original release date for this series is not supplied. The snapshot was accessed on 2026-10-03.

This summarizes mortality conditions in a year; it does not predict how long a particular baby will live.

It is a period life-table measure, rather than a measure of a completed birth cohort.

Some underlying demographic estimates are interpolated and may not capture each annual event precisely.

Missing years remain missing; the site does not extrapolate future life expectancy.

Unemployment in Angola

14.11%

% of the labor force (modeled ILO estimate)

Share of the labor force without work who are available for and seeking employment, from the ILO modeled estimates series.

Source, freshness & caveats

The publisher collection was updated on 2026-07-13; the original release date for this series is not supplied. The snapshot was accessed on 2026-10-03.

This is the modeled ILO series, not the national headline unemployment release.

People outside the labor force are excluded from the denominator.

WDI does not identify every imputed observation in this response. Cross-country ranking and comparison are disabled because ILO warns against comparing imputed observations.

How this edition is selected

The cloud edition selects up to eight measures through a deterministic daily rotation of 14 reporting economies: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, India, China, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, South Africa, South Korea and Indonesia. It uses only approved, licensed observations with a definition, source locator and immutable revision identity. An unavailable or withdrawn measure is omitted.

Cloudflare refreshes the selection at 06:00 America/Vancouver without requiring the local computer. Before display, the cloud service checks the current approved release, rights and exact revisions. Source update probes create private review evidence; they do not approve or publish changes. If the cloud is unavailable, the page labels its packaged build selection as an archive. Inspect the packaged archive JSON.
